LOCACTION: The dairy is located just northeast of Clovis in Curry County, New Mexico. Access to the facility is by paved county roads.

 

LAND TENURE: Approximately 1,378.47 Acres

 

DAIRY
IMPROVEMENTS: Milking Barn two 23,000 +/- square foot barns each equipped

with double 42 parallel parlors and two 6,000 gallon milk tanks. Additionally, there is a single 18 hospital parlor.

Pens consist of 6,257 mature cow lockups (4X9), 1,187 dry cow/hospital lockups (5X10), 6,001 heifer lockups and 2,046 calf hutches. There are shades in all mature cow pens.

Commodity Barn 18,965 square feet with eighteen individual bays and large cotton seed storage and large concrete approach.

Hay Sheds nine hay sheds with a total of 146,250 square feet to accommodate up to 9,000 tons of hay.

 

LIVESTOCK: 8,000 +/- cows and 8,000 +/- heifers. Closed herd breeding all A2 semen for the last two years.

 

WATER SYSTEM: 875,000 gallons of water storage. Total well production is 1,600 GPM.

 

IRRIGATED LAND: The property will contain approximately 830 net irrigated acres in the immediate area. The wells and farms are all tied

together and can be used to irrigate crops or water for the dairy.

 

ROLLING STOCK: All feed trucks, loaders & other equipment included in the sale.

 

FEED: $12 million +/- feed inventory & contracts can be purchased by separate treaty.

 

REMARKS: This facility is known as South Slope Dairy and is owned and operated by the Jim Abacherli Family.
